Response to HA !!!!!

it seems that when you embed a flash into NW54 it changes something in the code and you can not take the Code out of NW54 and have it work in anyplace else.

I went back to Aimoo and copied the code out of there and it works....so save the below code to do all  your flashes in or it won't work.

You replace the URl in the three places belowe   with what ever swf url you want to show.

again remember to hit the preview mode then hit the edit mode when the edit box comes up there will be a black box where the code use to be. just click on it twice and it will preview the swf.file then if you have it right and it shows just click post or save changes.

Here is the code you have to use...I forgot and made the flash appear....bad me..LOL

<OBJECT codeBase=http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0 height=300 width=400 classid=clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000><PARAM NAME="_cx" VALUE="10583"><PARAM NAME="_cy" VALUE="7938"><PARAM NAME="FlashVars" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="Movie" VALUE="http://media.euniverse.com/funpages/cms_content/2815/lifetoliveover-new.swf"><PARAM NAME="Src" VALUE="http://media.euniverse.com/funpages/cms_content/2815/lifetoliveover-new.swf"><PARAM NAME="WMode" VALUE="Window"><PARAM NAME="Play" VALUE="0"><PARAM NAME="Loop" VALUE="-1"><PARAM NAME="Quality" VALUE="High"><PARAM NAME="SAlign" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="Menu" VALUE="-1"><PARAM NAME="Base" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="AllowScriptAccess" VALUE="always"><PARAM NAME="Scale" VALUE="ShowAll"><PARAM NAME="DeviceFont" VALUE="0"><PARAM NAME="EmbedMovie" VALUE="0"><PARAM NAME="BGColor" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="SWRemote" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="MovieData" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="SeamlessTabbing" VALUE="1">

BTW: thanks for the edit button....what a post saver.

about the text editor in my forum...I am not sure whitch one you are talking about.

there is this one that is in FORUM name/OPTIONS:

This one you do so that every visitor can do html

Allow Formatted Text
Allow your users to post messages in Formatted Text (HTML)

This one in MY ACCOUNT/EDIT/AccountOptions/

This one each NW54 Mamber has to activate in their account for it to show. The little Gray box in the post page. And If I have it checked in my account I get the box (the owner of the forum has nothing to do with this one working or not for each poster. That is why I could get it posted. and maybe you could not??)

WYSIWYG Editor

Use WYSIWYG Editor when composing formatted text in messages. (Beta test)

and this one (to be able for posters to edit THEIR OWN posts) is in Forum name/edit/access control/

Group    Privileges
  Anyone (Public access)
  Anyone with a Network54 Login
  You (blackkats4)
  Waterfowl Forum Meeting Place
  Blocked IPs

This is a control you set for every poster. You can have the HTML set in the forum options box and then control who can use it here.

I see you did the edit part but I did not see the delete on the page.

P.S.   here is my link for posting music and flash in posts and other things...feel free to add or copy them over to your instruction site...
