Response to Last minute gifts?

One year I did my Christmas shopping almost exclusively (except for the Santa stuff) at Walgreen's (the one that yoosta be a KB on Vets. at David Drive). I perused the brochure in'na Sunday paypa, found all sorts of interesting gift items, made a list, checked it twice, and went for it. I was proud of myself -- got stuff on sale, shopped quickly and efficiently, and each gift seemed suited for each receiver. My father-in-law got a big kick out that and ribbed me for years -- the ladies in his family were big-time shoppers, the kind that actually looked forward to that Day After Thanksgiving foolishness.

I eschew malls. I like to convince myself that mass commercialization...blah...blah...blah...but the truth is that I have absolutely no sense of direction and get lost in large malls to the extent that I can't find my car when I'm finished. A perfect Christmas present to me would be a GPS device.
