Depp's Life-Saving Love

Hollywood hunk Johnny Depp says falling in love saved him from depression and alcohol.
The actor claims meeting French beauty Vanessa Paradis was the turning point in his life.

The couple, who have been together six years, met while Depp was shooting the movie 'The Ninth Gate'.
He revealed to the Calgary Sun newspaper: "I think I lived the first 35 years of my life in a fog.
"I didn't really know what I wanted or who I was. After I'd become an actor, I just knew I didn't want to be a celebrity."
The couple had daughter Lily-Rose a few months after they met and added son Jack to their family in 2002 - though they have never married.
Johnny revealed: "I pretty much fell in love with Vanessa the moment I set eyes on her. As a person, I was pretty much a lost cause at that time in my life. She turned all that around for me with her incredible tenderness and understanding."
Depp, who got his first Oscar nomination for his role in 'Pirates of the Caribbean', added: "Vanessa and I have considered ourselves husband and wife since the day we moved in together. We just haven't gone through the formalities of legalizing our union."
