Among other things, my new Publisher has asked me to provide them with a list of names and addresses of family and friends so they can send a little promotional flyer around when my new book is close to publication.

If any of you, or anyone you know, would be interested in being on this list, could you email me with your full name and mailing address? No obligation to buy the book, of course, but you might want to have a little flyer about your long-time Editor and friend getting their second book published for your archives. Just let me know through email - I have about a week to get all the information they need together.

I'm also having to think of a back cover blurb, etc., so I have a few challenges in one email - hard to boil a whole novel down to fifty words or less that will make a person standing in a bookstore want to buy my book. But at least this one will be IN the bookstores!

Thank you, my friends. In case you don't know, the one they're publishing is Twenty Fifty-Five, a few chapters of which are on the Voice. Let's hope he doesn't do something as stupid as deleting all my work from there after I've told him not to... It wouldn't really surprise me if he does, but it sure would make me angry! I don't like having to get angry, waste of valuable brain time...

And maybe you'll have to buy another copy when I'm in Hamilton to do a book signing, eh??? Don't know when that will be, but no doubt it will happen - this publisher will put me out on the promotional trail, for sure!

If you have an address for anyone else around there, maybe even your dad's, email them to me and I'll add them to my publisher's list - Jenn, all your other girlfriends, they'd be happy to get a little flyer from your Mom's publisher, wouldn't they? The house you stayed at for a while? They all know your Mom's a writer...

And this one will be right in the BOOK STORES!!! I can't wait!!!!!
