The big problem remaining is calling it, The Worlds Favorite Literary Website. That title deserves to be put
in a fantasy column ..should he be capable of handling
one without scaring too many people away.

He is narrow minded to say the least.

Let us make our -Worlds Favorite Literary Website -a
real website, not some poor ,emotionless, self centered
dysfunctional group like the one that remains on WV.
I like to see all of us step forward with a positive
attitude and enjoy writing and reading each other's work without worrying about a hatchett coming down or
any negative remarks being placed upon each other.

All of us are with you ,Alice. This was the right direction for all of us. People change for better or
worse. We know how we have changed and what we like to see in a literary website. We're all ready to put forth what we love to do best.

So here's to us!!! ( we just clinked champagne glasses!)

Don't look his way. It will always be foggy, stormy and overcast. We are the sunshine- as you are to us.

With Love,

Julie

I created that slogan, The World's Favourite Literary Website, and it's been bothering me that it's still on that site. I'll put a message on the forum and email him demanding that he remove it by rights of intellectual copyright. I already told him to remove everything I wrote on all the pages, except my creative works, and that is my slogan. It certainly is not that anymore!!!

You're right, we've done the right thing to get away from that realm of darkness and negativity - a semi-literate swamp now, things published with no editing or proper formatting, a disgrace to what I'd begun. I'd like to see him vanish into the ozone completely, but believe me, it will die a slow death. New writers will not like the criticism heaped on them in the feedback area due to the lack of editing, and they will not continue sending work. The whole 'feel' of the site has changed, and God is not with them, at the helm, as He was when I managed the site.

Just keep remembering that adversity builds character, makes us stronger, and pressure makes diamonds.

I've quoted this same thing twice today in emails, a song my friend Steven quotes to me often: 'Nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight, have to kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight.' Very true!!!

I'd better go, it's late, I'm tired, had a very busy but quite relaxing day at my friend Megan's house - it backs on the river, right across from our zoo, so it's very cool and pleasant, with the occasional animal roar or peacock squeal thrown in for good measure. She has to move from there in mid-January, so we've been enjoying every sort of warm moment we can in her river back yard!

Talk to you tomorrow, Julie. Hope you're having a good night...

Love and Hugs,

Alice
