I'll definitely look like #&^! ,when I teach
Sunday school tomorrow. This poem of mine will hopefully get me through the day. I wrote this
one a few months back.
IMAGE
It's early in the morning when I first see my reflection.
Hair tangled, weary and a far cry from covergirl perfection.
Coffee brewing, fresh dress, and a two minute shower,
will renovate this tired body in about half an hour.
Image on the outside is not as important as what lies within.
I'm ready to mentor others and help lead them away from sin.
The Lord has touched my heart and hears my very next thought.
I pray for His direction as to what lessons should be taught.
I am comfortable with my image and how I am viewed.
My worries and concerns have all been subdued.
He's lifted my afflictions and carried them away.
I pray God will place me where He needs me every day.
What's carried in your backpack or hidden in your heart?
God know's your life in perfect detail, every single part.
Ask for strength and guidance when you speak to Him in prayer.
Your inner image is very special, so handle it with care.

How are you feeling this morning, my dear? A little better I hope - although sometimes first thing in the morning can be a most painful time of the day, when we wake up to a new reality in our life that we don't like. You're probably already at Sunday School by now, being two hours earlier than me, and I hope and pray you're feeling a little more positive.
I really wish sometimes that we were real neighbours and not simply cyber friends, so we could share tears and tea in a real way!
