Eyes

Watchful and noticing, they observe your ways.

Eyesight is used for a long piercing gaze.

What a pleasure to see eye-to-eye.

No foul arguments or a struggle to lie.

Eyes can be of large and small size.

Large in an ostrich or small in fireflies.

Eyes can be smaller in that of a land beetle.

Smallest when passing through the eye of a needle.

Eyewitnesses walk and follow His Light.

God opened eyes and granted new sight.

Tears of joy are shed from our eyes,

as God has helped us to finally realize.

He casts His Blessed eyes down upon us

and smiles as prayers are whispered to Jesus.
