Paradeyes

Cruel devotion,
Whisked emotions,
Stumble me dizzily,
Around the days.
Aching to grasp unknown
Unseen depths.
Anguish, agony preys.
I know her all
Yet, let this Woman fall,
Her of a faultless mind,
One of a loving kind.
Squirming, worming,
Restless, helpless,
Sleepless me.

To email my heart,
Post my soul,
Fly my very life.
To read a saddened spirit,
And imagine
Lifeless Angel's wings,
In a Heaven
Where no one sings.
Hear fibre optic
Lilac sighs ………
Bearing the burden.

I need to
Stand close,
Breath on breath
And look into
Her paradeyes.

Then time opportune,
To tear, delete
And both to whirl around.
Erase mournful cries
Of echoes past
For at last
Together we’d fall
Into paradeyes.

enchanting and

captivating.

You create something that's absolutely enchanting in your own unique style .

Deleted....what is it to be deleted? Somehow I don't believe this universe allows anything to be completely deleted. There are memory bytes on all different scales, scales beyond our comprehension.

Nothing we do will ever be fully deleted.

Thank you for sharing Rusty.

How very beautiful, Rusty...

November 18 2003, 5:05 PM

Maybe it's time you bought an airline ticket and put yourself and this woman you write about both out of your misery?

These lines are so sad I have tears in my eyes:

'And imagine
Lifeless Angel's wings,
In a Heaven
Where no one sings.'

If it makes you feel any better, some things in my own personal life are resolved, I'm getting stronger, and I'm singing right now, The Bee Gees & Celine Dionne "Immortality."

"So this is who I am
And this is who I'll love
And I must choose to live for all that I can give
The spark that makes the power grow

And I will stand for my dreams if I can
Symbol of my faith in who I am
But you are my only

And I will follow on the road that lies ahead
I won't let my heart control my head
But you are my only

We don't say good-bye
We don't say good-bye

And I've learned what I've got to give

Immortality,
I'll make my journey through eternity
I'll keep the memory of you and me inside

Fulfill your destiny
It's there within the truth
My song will never end
My fate is on the wind
The king of hearts
The joker's wild

We don't say good-bye
We don't say good-bye...."

It goes on, but I hope you get the idea... I think that woman you write about would be very happy to see you, Sir Broadspear.

Absolutely beautiful poem you gave us today, Rusty; it should be set to music so I can sing it.

Love and Peace,

Alice
