Beautiful poem, but you made me lonely for a special someone in my life! It's all right, I'm used to being alone with children, and can't really imagine my life any other way after all these years. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have that special someone at my side through all life's ups and downs though...

But someone as loving, talented, caring , smart,charming, funny ...I refuse to believe will not have a very special someone at her side. If you're not now , you will someday soon. Very soon.
It's also ...not always like the poem...you know that though. We are in a fantastic place today ..but what we had to do to get here . We've had several roller coasters to hell and back!! Today we are lucky to laugh about it!
Lucky you to have had Thanksgiving already. I have a week of stress planning a small dinner, came down with a cold ,both my husband and I don't have Friday off and Turkey day is Thursday. It will be nice ,but it's not exactly easy having a one day Holiday. I can't exactly teach on Friday with the intended Hangover I am happily planning!!
Julie is so right, Alice!!! I waited a long time for my husband to come into my life, and right about the time I was ready to give up, he was just there! Now it seems like I was living in a fog before I found him. I had an Ex for eight years, and he is back there somewhere in my mind, but he doesn't seem like reality at all. YOur soul mate is waiting just like you are. When you stop expecting, Puff! He'll come from nowhere. You have a great deal coming up in your life with your book being published. You never Know!

Reminds me of when I was young and newly married and looking at the world through the eyes of love. I also feel that the poem could refer to Spirit's love.
