I have never even thought of what it would have been like to be Mary! I've thought about how it must have felt to be her at the end of Jesus' life, and have suffered with her every Easter since I've been conscious and thoughtful, but not about what it would have been like to carry the Saviour in her womb! Do you think she knew at the time, Julie, or that world events sort of turned her Son into what He became?
Very good poem you've written concerning this, Julie, thought-provoking at the very least!
I have to go, even though you've made my mind race in several directions with this work, my dear - I'll try to email you about something, but I think we all have to go out at ten, and then the boys have a birthday party to go to at one while I go out and get all the last-minute things done, so I don't know how much time I'll have today - Christmas!! All my grown up kids {which there are many more of now than young ones} are finding out all the things Mommy did for them for most of their lives.

It's an eye-opener for them, and Mom actually gets a little appreciation now and then!
Hope you're enjoying the Holidays, Julie - with the boys out of school, we're officially on holidays! That means I might get to catch up on some sleep - how about you?
Love and Big Hugs,
Alice
