A granule of sweetness from Heaven’s core
Powers her heart. Waves crash on the shore,
As sure as she smiles her sweet selfless love.
Doubts finally depart, riding wings of a dove.

Countless heartbeats astray, she enters my day,
She takes me. A tender and wondrous display.
Fear forsakes me. Warms me close to her soul.
Something takes over, Angels peacefully patrol.

Witness words, saved through playful fingers,
Rest awhile as their purity soaks, infuses, lingers.
No denial. She lives and gives by a guiding Hand.
Wears a brilliance of Heaven, a golden strand.

Freaky flight of humour, as a cloud of butterflies,
Surprising. Different tracks, darting, laughing eyes,
Disguising a compassion for the frail human race,
Effortless to observe, so impossible to replace.

Softly cradle a bursting bloom of Summer’s fruit,
Drown in its glowing glory and subtlest attribute.
Feel and smell the life-force with wondrous awe.
Then you’ll know my sweetheart, the one that I adore.

And just in time for Valentine's Day too! We'll all take your romantic words to heart, no matter who they're meant for....

Thank God we all have you to be sweet to us, Rusty {the Ladies, I mean, of course!} when a lot of the male population isn't even very thoughtful, let alone romantic!
