I'm leaving tomorrow around noon to go away for a week, down to Iowa to meet the man I'm writing the book about and do some in person research.
As usual, being the hermit I am, I don't really want to leave the comforts of my home and children to go anywhere, but this is necessary to the process. I don't want to leave any of you either, and I will try to peek in here sometime.
I'm travelling by Greyhound, so will be completely out of touch of a computer for a couple of days {38 hours on the bus}, but I want to travel this way. I've never spent much time in the United States, and I need a feel for the area and the people, and this is the best way I can think of to get it. If I go back down at some point, I'll fly, no doubt.
It should be an interesting trip, and a week away from the kids will give me a break, but it's always hard to go....
I'll miss you all!!!
But I will try to drop in here at least once, from one of Donald's computers.
