Words That Sail

In the air from my lips,
are spoken words that sail like ships...
Ships that sail from ear to ear.

Words of peace and of hope,
Intertwine just like a rope;
Words to my friends I love so dear.

As each moment passes by,
I dream of what’s beyond the sky;
Whispering words to my Heavenly King.

There is nothing better to be
than myself for all to see,
that truthful words mean everything.

New beginnings can start right now,
for those who solemnly make a vow
to speak Words of Truth and stop the lies.

Before my life comes to an end,
I’ll carefully word this message to send...
Giving praise to the Creator of the skies.

Great message, Julie!

I remember having a big disagreement with a woman a few years ago, an author's wife, about the Commandment 'thou shalt not bear false witness' - to me, this always meant don't lie. What do the rest of you think?

Excellent message here, Julie! Thanks! Always good to see you, my friend!

Love and Big Hugs,

Alice

Hello dear Julie,
You have definitely written verses the world needs to live by. Words of wisdom, indeed and written extremely well.
Wonderful!
As far as Alice's comment on bearing false witness, it has always been my understanding it means not to lie. I would be interested in knowing what the author's wife thought it meant. How about that, Alice?
Love to all,
Suzanne
