Temptation

It is time to ask why
You fell for clever and sly…
After bumping into Deceit.

With his bag of tricks
You are now in the mix.
Demon under your feet.

With every temptation
And not much hesitation,
He has quickly stolen your seat.

If you start today
And begin to pray
It is Jesus you will meet.

He can wash away all sin.
With Lord Jesus you can win,
And say good-bye to defeat.

Romans 16:20
And the God of peace shall bruise
Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our
Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Simple but Powerful, Julie!

October 18 2004, 2:36 PM

Julie, your messages are always crystal clear and very powerful - I wish we had a larger viewing audience here so we could share all this wonderful work with more people. One of these days!

Maybe we need to clone me, so I can get more work done faster? I've gotten space for a bigger site, but every time I try to FTP work up to the new space, it won't work. Guess it's not the right time yet, for whatever reason. Everything in God's own time, eh?

Love and Big Hugs,

Alice

Temptation

October 18 2004, 3:22 PM

Whilst Alice is trying to 'FTP work up to the new space', I am trying to avoid temptation.

I have consumed two glasses of port, yet I have an uncorked bottle of tawny that consistently beckons me. Every time I place this bottle behind me, I swivel, as if on a magical pivot .........

Tell me Julie - Do I succomb? - or do I discard this sumptuous wedge of stilton?

As always a lovely heart lifting poem Julie .............

Everything you do my friend do with joy in your heart!!!

Ecclesiastes 9:7
Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works

Psalm 104:15
And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
