Tracks

On the ground lies a track for a train
Meant to carry travelers and loads of grain.

Tracks can be spotted in soft golden sand,
Gently they are washed away by Ocean’s hand.

It is clear to view tracks in the snow
Gracefully made by a brown spotted doe.

Sometimes we travel on a wrong track,
Trying desperately to find our way back.

Back to a place where we long to be
Walking on a path where the blind can see.

See the course set from Heaven to Earth
And the prints of those that believe in His birth.

We can walk on this track and finish this race
With a strong faithful heart and a smile on our face.

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

Excellent, Julie!

I have a small question - do you look up the Bible verses after you write a poem, or do the verses inspire the poems? Probably a little of both, right?

Excellent work once again, my friend!!

Love and Big Hugs,

Alice

Well-- -- --

Most often I am usually inspired to write poems after reading the bible.

I taught my children a few weeks ago the II Timothy 4:7 verse.

BUT:

It wasn't until this morning that the word "tracks" was floating around in my brain .

Thar ya have it.

Hello Julie,
You have done it again, Julie. I have often thought when reading your poetry how fortunate your love ones are to have you with your faith and heart which shows so clearly through your writing. What a positive influence you must be to those around you. Excellant as usual, my friend.
Love and hugs,
Suzanne
