God's Embrace

I love your poem, Julie. I have also been inspired by Spirit/God. I was in Vegas years ago with Alice and my daughter Faythe when I had my epiphany and wrote this poem the next morning. It is actually a dialogue between me and Spirit and I usually use two different fonts to reflect that. I wish that that was possible on the forum. Hey, Alice!?

God's Embrace

I feel you in my pounding heart
And it's bursting forth with glee
I've become so light and peaceful
Since you've lovingly embraced me

The tears that fell from pain
Now freely flow with joy
You tell me "THIS IS MY LOVE!"
All I can answer is, "Oh boy!"

I NEVER GAVE UP HOPE
Nor I for I had Faythe/Faith
SHE WAS MY GIFT TO YOU!
I know, she's my saving grace

An angel sent from Heaven
A sign from up above
YES! THAT'S IT! EXACTLY!
A SYMBOL OF MY LOVE!

And now it's clear, I'm really blessed
I've found my way back home
And now that YOU and I are one
Never more shall I roam!

Sorry Pam

Hi Pam,

Yes, I see the request for different fonts, but no can do. This is a pretty simple forum, and that kind of thing doesn't really work here. I might be able to figure it out if I wasn't fighting off another migraine, but...

I remember your excitement when you experienced this, Pam, it made big changes in you and your outlooks. Thanks for sharing this one here!

Love and Big Hugs,

Alice

Very strong poem Pam, with positive vibes in every verse - made even more enjoyable knowing the background to it .....
