I find it an absolute gift of God that I am so deeply in love with my wife after 27 years of marriage. She has such a loving and gentle spirit for people, and such a caring heart. I thank Him all the time for the passion He puts in my heart for this woman.

I was thinking of her and I wrote this.

She Came to Me Gently

She came to me gently, as a breeze to one’s face
Was to pass by on a quiet summer’s eve.
And the clamor of my mind did fade by her grace,
Want was I that she never did leave.

Ah, so gentle was she… her smile to soothe my ill;
And a brush of her hand to my cheek…
And the rush of the world did calm, oh so still;
That calm, that peace I did seek.

From somewhere deep, dark… my spirit she did lift;
Her embrace like a warming ember.
Enrapt so, within her arms, so easily could I drift,
To that place I loved, that I could not remember.

With soft lips pressed to mine, such is her fashion,
To stir the ashes, embers burn anew, my heart to ignite;
The love she has for me, oh the passion!
My heart to soar — to take flight!

Such is the gift she gives to me, the love;
And want am I to partake.
Truly an angel from God above.
Never shall I forsake.

Your wife is a very fortunate woman to have such love in her life, and so are you.

Surprisingly I don't envy you, I'm just very happy for you both - and glad to see another beautiful example of great love in the world.
