Just ordered a new computer system yesterday thanks to a loan from my friend Charley, which will have programs for publishing and ebook conversion and lots of good stuff I don't have on this lovely old dinosaur that's still running Windows 98.

Have to build at least one page for my Song Lyrics Index which is getting quite a few hits, then get back to building more of these. I want to have as much as possible ready for when the new computer arrives.

If anyone's looking for a new machine, I'd certainly recommend Dell, they design the system with the software you want and then ship it, the total cost of mine was only $831 Canadian. This is the most reasonable and cost effective system I've ever found, and can't wait to get it! My productivity should increase quite a lot when I have a machine that works fast and has the right programs to work with!

but found no tips on how to refurbish the west wing on limited budget and an elderly butler who can't walk further than the east wing .......

Thanks for being you, my Dear, always a great pleasure to see you. Sorry I wasn't here earlier, out working in the gardens. My yard will be more beautiful than ever this year. Our weather's turning colder again by tomorrow, but this is my third good day out there working. Ready to drop by now - have to get my own indoor staff to do the housework, I'm too sore and tired now. AS IF!!!
