Night Terrors

When dreams take flight into iniquitous night,
Sheer terror awakens one, in frantic need of light.
When sleep filled wonders are out of mind and sight.
‘tis bliss to kiss the pillow, let sleep and soul reunite.

When sands are running out and one has love to declare,
Persevere, be sincere, overcome, don’t despair.
Speak out from one’s heart, whisper a meaningful prayer.
Outsretched hands of friendship, grasp, hold on and share.

Butterfly words
Wondrous but unheard
To the cat that patted and purred.
Innocent, absurd.

Bad dreams, Sir Rusty?

May 7 2006, 3:30 PM

I've recently read that when cats purr, they are strengthening their bones. There's a theory that when they purr next to us, on our laps or something, they might be strengthening our bones.

I'd send you one of my marmalade tabbies through the transporter if I'd invented it yet. Can you get a cat by other means, or do you have one already?

My gardens are calling me back outside, or maybe it's the porch swing me and Matt the Bratt installed in the yard yesterday? It's lovely, much too comfortable, I often get stuck to the swing when I'm meant to be weeding strawberries! Which reminds me of what I came inside for, to look up cedar mulch and Lavender. I'll go do that before I forget again.

Love and Many Blessings,

Alice
