One Night


The flavourdom of femaledom
Perfume of a lady
I hallowed her, followed her
Into the kitchen.

Aromas of coffee, foodstuffs.
Stuff grilling, already filling
My desire for her fire
As she leaned downward to the bottom oven.

She wore my shirt,
To retrieve sizzling bacon.
I read my book, tried not to look
But didn’t try too hard.

Sharing breakfast, touching toes,
Eyes that breathe what no one knows.
Chewing, stewing over the night before.
Grins and glows.

Food is over, we slide greasy lips
And grind near bare hips.
We love, we laugh, we share a bath.
A day begins.
