The Gift Of Giving

Contributing to lend a hand…
Help another trying to stand.
Talk to those in need of a friend.
Say prayers for those near the end.

End the excuses, starting now.
The Lord will lead and show us how.
Hunger grows and this is well known
PRIDE focused only on its own.

Give what you have, right from the heart.
Show someone to make a new start.
Buy a meal for those in need.
Stop feeding the monster called GREED.

Everyone is given the chance,
To change a dismal circumstance.
No better action than to give,
Share the love that helps us to live.

Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things,
how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak,
and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus,
how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive

This is so exactly right, the way to live a good life, to give of our selves and of what we have.
