| - Hear Our Cries
Around this world in every nation
Different thoughts and dreams
Are pondered and awakened
To overtake silent screams.
Shattered lives want war to end
Others need an urgent cure
Children wish food to be sent
Some pray for strength to endure.
Imagine that such goals could be met
And we all took part of this mission
Think about the time that is left
To make a difference;
Keep the vision.
Storms increase, as many ignore the frantic cries
Silent screams fill those still afraid
Turmoil spreads while so many are claimed “wise”
Lives are left destitute and
Without any aid.
Is any nation so wonderful and great
To promote their plan that ignites more hate
My wishes are different
My tears are real-
For all the souls
That will never heal.
Did we help or hurt-
Reach out or pull back
To those in need …
In all of us, may
Almighty God
Plant charity’s seed.
Psalm 61:1 Hear my cry, O God;
attend unto my prayer.

Sounds like a reference to Iraq. Wish I had an answer, I suppose we have to deal with the situation we have created. Was it necessary in the first place? - we'll never know - but we can make educated guesses as to why .........
It's a mess - all wars are a mess - and they get messier.
Wish I had answers or words of reassurance ......... |

Not only Iraq , but all these countries that are building nuclear weapons , and what about the genocide Crisis Darfur in western Sudan. , and yes , why do have starving children ...ANYWHERE ?????
The question "why " never leaves me on any of these .
Thanks for sharing your kind and honest comments.
