Childhood Days

Thinking back upon childhood days

How fun was found in so many ways.

Feeding hungry ducks in the park -

Playing hide and seek in the dark.

With my friends, sharing jokes to tell,

Wishing hard by the Wishing-Well.

Carnivals filled with magic arrive…

Imaginations came alive.

Riding on the Merry-Go-Round,

On my big horse - high off the ground.

Watching parades come to my town -

Big smiles made, never a frown.

My own memories help me to see

The joy of being young and free.

Such times stay with me from the past

Kept in my heart where they will last.

Thanks for the breaths of childhood, Julie, isn't it wonderful how we can relive moments like this through our own or even other children?

Thanks very much, my dear friend, totally beautiful on a day predicting SNOW here!!

Love and Big Hugs,

Alice

Seems like yesterday

September 16 2006, 7:11 PM

although , ask me what I did yesterday and I would have trouble telling you.

But memories that were special in the younger years ... I remember in perfect detail.

Wishing wells- I placed extra coins in to help make them come true.

And my wishes? They came true.

Peace and blessings,

Julie
