A Little Tear

A little tear
Falls down my face
When I see
Great suffering
Amidst our human race.

A little tear
Runs down my cheek
As I kneel and pray
For the hungry and weak.

A little tear
Escapes from my eye
As I mourn for
The lonely who
Are scared to die.

A little tear
Begins to tell
Of the grief and pain
We know so well.

A little tear
Calls to Heaven above
And is answered by
Our Lord of Love.

The Day will come
Where we won't cry
For our Lord will
Wipe our tears dry.

Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.

Nice to 'see' you again Julie - I'm sure you've been missed by many.

This poem is so very simple, yet would touch anyone who read it.

Kind of Regards Rusty

How have you been? Rusty's right, you've been missed, certainly by me!!

Your poetry is always so deeply touching, Julie, flows right to the soul and touches everyone who is fortunate enough to read your words. I'm sure the human race is better for your caring.

Love You, Julie, Many Blessings,

Alice
