She has been both splint and suture
to repair a broken past,
yet she bears a whole new future,
most mysterious and vast.

While her voice was always warming
now it modulates the winds.
When she weeps the sky is storming
and the clouds break as she grins.

She has kept some people thriving;
she has filled a life with worth.
She has lived, herself, surviving;
now she brings life to this earth.

She is ready for the trials;
she's determined to succeed.
She will cross the countless miles
to acquire what she needs.

In her eyes a light is glowing,
as the riddle is unfurled:
deep within her, life is growing,
and, once more, she’ll heal the world.
