Divine Passage
Walking along on this beautiful day
Scents fill the air from Earth’s bouquet
Connecting me to the wonders of life
Forgetting all worries and senseless strife.
While viewing soft clouds of pinks and blue
My journey shows me something new.
Angels nearby point the way
To the bridges of blessings
Where they sing and play.
Over the bridges, rays of light appear
As ladders of love to a sky so clear.
I imagine climbing up with ease
Reaching the top and finding
Gold keys.
The angels then help me to understand
By placing the keys within my hand.
Slowly I stroll to a sparkling gate
Where doves fly round this
Blessed estate.
A pathway of promise moves my feet...
My journey is now almost complete.
In the distance a bell does chime
Announcing the final end of time
Ushering in perpetual days
Filled with eternal
Peace and praise.
