~You have entered "The Entertainment Alliance Book Club", where we are currently reading our eigth book, "Every Which Way but Dead", by: Kim Harrison and our unofficial book "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling~
Welcome everybody to my new online book club! Access to this site will be as follows. You can read this site only with a Network 54 login. If you don't have one it will tell you when you try to view it and you can get one. Now, to actually respond and post you have to beling to a group. There are two groups. The first is "Keycas Place Members" and the second group is called "Keycas Place Moderators". The club members have full access to post and respond. The moderators have moderating abilities. They can edit and delete posts. They can't abuse their powers though, I shall only be making mods of the people I know and trust. They shall follow all the same rules as everybody else.
The way this book club will work is that we shall have a thread specifically to talk about books we want to read and vote on them.
Once we decide on a book, we all shall read that book. We will designate "Meeting Spots" in the book to stop reading and just head over to this forum and talk about what we have read and what we think about it, and what we think shall happen. I'm thinking chapter discussions, but some books don't have chapters, some are just one long book. I think we may have issues with these, but we can talk about that when we get there. Now, these chapter discussions. I think we should make a whole new thread for each one. That way if we say any kind of spoilers to the book, it won't spoil it for anybody else who has yet to get that far, seeing as the threads will be clairly marked.
Now our rules are basically about language, spamming, and spoilers to sum it up really quikly. Basically watch your language, don't make any kind of pointless posts, don't spam my board, and that is about it. Also feel free to have an open discussion and feel free to have an open mind and your own opinions and stuff. You have every right to express your opinion, but no open fights, and no insulting of any kind of discrimination at all. It will not be tolerated. I hate to sound like a jerk about it, but I'm just making sure everybody has taken it into consideration.
Any other sugestions, feel free to sugest away!

For the books that don't have chapters, and if we like the Chapter Discussions, how about we have a discussion for every 20 pages or something. That could work.
And, don't worry, Chris, you don't sound like a jerk

I suppose we should when we start a new book. Good idea!

Well, I'm bumping this up since we started a new book. Mostly for the fact that I'd say half the readers havn't been here when this thread was made so probably don't know the rules.
Also, I just noticed. At the very bottom of the page I have a footer for the club. I have it tell people the current book. Well, in all honesty, I'm an idiot lol. We decided our third book like what, maybe a month ago? Yeah, well I still have the second book title on the footer lol. Heading to change that now...
