I think we should probably hold off. Right now I'm pretty busy with exams and after that is christmas break, so i'll be away from home, and I won't have internet access. I get a 3 week vacation!!! I'm so excited to be going back to new york!!! yeah, so let's hold off until after the holidays...

Hey, has anyone actually asked any book stores if they can order the book? I just thought of that. Also, maybe a library would order it if they thought someone would read it, you should also try that if you can't have any luck by Janurary.
It's odd that people are having trouble getting the book. I just walked in to Barnes and Noble and grabbed one off the shelf. Definitely, ask the friendly bookstore folks. They will certainly be able to order it if they really don't have it in stock. Also, as Chris said, you can talk to the librarian. They can do an interlibrary loan if they seriously don't have a copy in the stacks. However, I find that really hard to believe. Just ask and they will help.
Also, I've noticed some books in different parts of the library or book store depending where you go. I can't think of anything specific at the moment, but as an example, you may be looking in the right spot, but maybe the library book store has a different section with that book in it.
A good example are those Vampire Chronicle Books I'm reading. They could be in fiction, and a few other ones because of the plots. And the book store I shop at, actualy has a whole section for Anne Rice, and that's the only spot in the store you will find them. So they aren't in with the rest of them. Also, they could just be temporerily out of stock and do carry them. Or, if it is a library, it may just be out and they may have it.
At my library, and the three other ones I've been to, they have a whole shelf or two of Agatha Christie. So go to mystery section and look for her, 'cause she has her shelf reserved.

Sorry, I'm behind. But, even though it's pretty much decided anyway, I just wanted to put my opinion in. I think it's a good idea to wait until Jan. People are so busy this time of the year.
Oh, and I actually haven't looked for the book yet. Maybe this weekend while I'm at the mall.

They show you how detergents take out bloodstains. I think if you've got a T-shirt with bloodstains all over it, maybe your laundry isn't your biggest problem.

If you can't find it at the library or bookstore, you can probably get it online. Try this---- http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0312979479/002-0739791-3671233?v=glance ---It's only like six bucks. or you could ask for it for christmas or something.... I don't know. I bought my copy at a yard sale two summers ago for a quarter along with a whole bunch of other books, but december isn't exactly yard sale season, so yeah, good luck...

I think I'm close to getting another job. If I do, then I'll pick it up once I catch up with my car insurance and credit card bill lmao.
Also, try compairing online. Barnesandnobel.com or boarders.com will probably also have it to order. I haven't actually looked, but it may be cheaper or on sale. Who knows.
I wanted to have a say in this (even if I agree w/ everyone): I would really appreciate it if we could hold off the book till Jan, because:
1. I still have not found the book (will look on the net, but I dont promise anything)
2. I'll be starting my Xmas holidays on the 20th, and I'm going to my grandparents' house till the 1-2 of Jan. Here I do not have internet access (heck, my grandparents dont even have a computer!)
yay, I cant wait till the holidays start! TOday I put up the Christmas tree (I know it's kinda late, but it's a tradition for us to put it up on the 8th of dec.)...
Anyway, I just finished reading Pride adn Prejudice for school and I really raccomand it: it was one of hte best books I've ever read, and even if it is pretty long (380 pgs and the font was tiny) I read it in less than a week (I also read OotP in less than 2 days..)...

Do we have a set date yet to start this book? During the month and a half or so since we finished Interview, Amanda and I were bored and have read the next two books in The Vampire Chronicles (The Vampire Lestat, and then The Queen of the Damned) lol! And we are also starting another one soon too!
