Holiday Plans?

What is everyone doing for the holidays? Any special plans for anybody?

I'm going to my grandfather's (father's side of the familly) house on Christmas Eve. My grandmother died back in July and he doesn't seem to be happy anymore, doesn't want to go to see familly on the holidays. Now it's always been a Christmas tredition that my grandparents throw a big party on Christmas Eve with all the familly. So we are going there to cheer him up. Hope it helps even just a little.

Then on Christmas day my brother is leaving to go visit a friend in Vermont for a week or so. My parents and I are going to my aunts house on my mother's side of the familly. Usually my grandmother on that side throws the gathering on Christmas day, but for whatever reason she isn't this year. She lives with her mother (my great grandmother), and her health isn't that well lately so I think that may be the reason. The company there for too long may be too much for her. But I don't want to ask.

New Years Eve I think I'm going out to eat with some friends. I don't know any other plans at the moment.

Chris, I think that your holiday plans sound kind of like mine.

Christmas Eve we are going to my grandfather's house (on my dad's side). But, he just got a new girlfriend and she moved in with him and everyone says this year won't be the same because of it. Then Christmas day, we usually go over to my Grandmother's house (mom's side of the family), but she got really sick last year around the holidays from trying to do too much so this year my mom's family is all going to my mom's house for Christmas dinner.

Then I have no plans yet for New Year's.... Still waiting.

Wow, that is really close. So close that this year we are having Christmas at my mom's aunts house and you are having it at your mom's house and that's the only difference. Well no, my grandfather on my dad's side doesn't have a new girlfriend. Too soon since my grandmother passed away.

Actually my mom just got off the phone with my grandfather (other one, the one on her side lol) and he just got a new girlfriend! What are the odds? Well, on my mom's side my grandparents are devorsed. My grandmother lives with her mother in Randolph, Ma, and my grandfather is somewere down in Florida.

I'm going to Florida in April I think. Checking out a writer guy's class.

Anyways, Christmas Eve I have to go to mass, then going to a Christmas Eve Party. Christmas Day I'm going to my cousin's house (Chris, Sandy, Mo, that's the crazy one who camped out at Best Buy.) That's it, dunno what's happening on New Years.
