I've finished The Vampire Armand. Has anyone else gotten this far in the chronicles yet? Any thoughts or opinions? I was kind of dissapointed to be honest. I guess I expected more from Armand to be so religous and bound to religon the way he is bound to his beleifs. I mean I got the idea he had faith, maybe lost his faith and found it again in the other books before Memnoch, but the way this book prtrays it is that he was faithful to his religon mostly his entire life. And then I was dissapointed on how Rice summed up his days in the Children of Darkness in like 2 pages when it was literly 300 years out of his 600 year existence. Think a few more pages would have been nice? I think so. Actually I was waiting for that through most of the book and then I found it and it was over which also dissapointed me.
The next book I'm reading in the series is Pandora, which I started last night. It seems interesting, but so far it's a lot of babbling. Like from the mind of Pandora her mind seems to loose track of her point as she moves away from it and then eventually realises she went off track. I hope the whole book isn't like that. I think what interests me the most about this book is that how I want to read about Anne Rice's version of how Pandora was reincarnated (so she beleives). I think that is what is drawing me to this book. Well, if it is as dissapointing as Armand was then at least I can say this one is shorter so I won't suffer as long.
