Okay, I won't bother with dates from here on out. Just post when you catch up to here. Sicne you already posted on CheckPoint 3, I'll put my opinion here.

Trent... ELF! Just what I guessed at the end of DWW, with all my reasoning I had typed into my theory why, and I was right, not even knowing any of the back story on the Elf race to begin with other then they are from the Ever-After, they steel human children, and used Elf magic to breed with humans, making the Elves suceptable to any human diseases. And now with the new information stated about Elves here, we know why Humans can do some magic from lay-lines, they got that through breeding with the elves.

I like the Troll under the bridge, that was cool!

So I want to know where Dr. Woman's body is (sorry, MadEye, the name you gave her is sticking lol).

I really like Trent. I don't care that he's a caniving jack ass or not, he's probably the coolest guy in the book, aside from Algaliarept (yes I looked up the spelling lol). What I want to know is why he is trying to hire a lay-line witch in the first place. At the end of this book you do have enough to guess at a half assed answer, but that's all it is is a guess.

So, what do you think will happen when they summon Algaliarept? Any guess yet as to who the killer is? Trent (or any of his fine associates lol), covering everything up and playing a wild card on Rach by hireing her to track down someone else? Dr. Woman, stageing her own death to further keep her name from the list? A vampire like Trent suggested? Someone completely not mentioned by me for any particular reason?

Ok, I finished last night.  The book seems like a bridge between one book and another.  Nothing was really resolved in this book.  I don't think it was clear why Piscary was killing the witches (obviously he wanted to stop Trent...but why?)  We still don't know the backstory of Rachels father.  We don't know what's going on with Nick.  (I'm guessing he is avoiding Rachel because he gave up even more to the demon than Rachel knows as of yet)

I thought the book was a bit of a disappointment compared to the first one.  The first one seemed to have a good story on it's own.  This one was a little weak that way. 

Yay You! on guessing the elf bit.  I didn't think she was going to use elves.  The bridge troll was cool...that was very clever.
