If there are people that are different from us, with views with which we disagree, what should we do?
These questions become a basis for immigration policy as well as foreign policy.
Should a culture kill those that disagree with their own beliefs? Should a culture kill those of its ranks that decide to join another group?
Immigration is in the news. Should we allow illegal immigrants to become citizens? Why not? Then the burden they cause will be offset by the taxes they would pay.
What is the real basis for our fear of immigration?
If there is a country which we do not like for its policies, should we attack them? Should we refuse to recognize their sovereignty, or boycott their goods, etc.?
Just asking. Where do we draw the line? Is the use of a free press to expose issues or ignorance really better in the long run?
