I am reminded that the Septuagint (LXX) is a BAD translation of the Hebrew scriptures. For example the Hebrew scriptures, as I understand it, says "young woman", instead of what was wrongly translated into "virgin". Probably the early non-Jewish Christians, who probably couldn't read Hebrew, and were using the LXX, were misled as a result.
