If my analysis is correct

The "original" Jesus -Joshua Ben Pandera- had absolutely nothing to do with NTestament Christianity. He was merely "fitted" into a mystery religion later ...... in order to provide a tangible character on whom to believe.

It would be like saying today that Abraham Lincoln was actually the subject -described in a belief TODAY- which a today's religion perceives as having been prophesied in some ancient book, who is supposed to appear within a time frame and then never shows up.

So like ........ Abe Lincoln certainly never perceived himself to be a Messiah. Joshua Ben Pandera never perceived himself to be anything other than a future King of Israel .......... with that future being in HIS LIFETIME obviously.

The instructions he issued to his followers were strategies only ....... to facilitate his becoming a King. Once he was king, he would reward his faithful. Until that time, he asked them to sacrifice their all for his sake.

The resurrection aspect and the "go into all the world and preach" and building his church etc. were simply added into the text later to make him appear to be the envisioned messiah of the world.
