I did address the "need for God to sacrifice" his own Son if one looks at it spiritally and not physically: Jesus said flesh and blood profit nothing, yet he also said, if one doesn't eat the flesh and drink the blood of the "Son of Man" he can have no part with him; This more than any other verse shows us that Jesus was talking about the spiritual reality, because he even said so when everyone was offended by this "hard saying":
God had to sacrifice a part of himself (HIS WILL) which is likened to his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, because THIS WILL COMES out from GOD and goes back to God having achieved what GOD PURPOSED:
it is written the WORD (Son) is in his BOSOM, so, what we are really looking at is God CUT OFF A PART OF HIMSELF (his OWN WILL) and sent it to be born in and through the SOUL/creation (seed of the woman) so that it could "LEAD" and guide the creation into the TRUTH:
saying it another way, CHRISTS blood is the holy spirit that then RUNS through the SOUL saving all and his body is the MEAT that satisfies the deepest need of the SOUL: Jesus said HIS MEAT was to do the "WILL" of the FATHER in heaven:
when you come right down to it, THE SON is the WORD that God Speaks from his OWN HEART just as we speak from the abundance of our own heart:
but Gods WORD has the POWER TO SAVE US, even though God let it be destroyed by being SENT TO US to perform Gods will:
people butcher the word all the time, every day, and yet, it is written, the WORD WILL ACCOMPLISH GODS PURPOSE, his WILL which is to give us a New HEART, and a NEW MIND by leading these to the NEWNESS OF LIFE that he is in us::
