Look at the success of Wikipedia!
If you had asked ME 20 years ago, if such a venture could succeed I would have told you a flat out "NO WAY!"
But it HAS worked!
It may be a fair ways from perfect but it sure is a hell of a lot better than nothing!
I mean ANYONE can write ANYTHING in Wikipedia so how could it POSSIBLY be reliable? Well, there you see the cleansing effect of diversity working.
