Well, that's the problem

With attempting to create a 'one-size-fits-all' application. It doesn't work because it attempts to address every possible scenario. It's a 'start-at-the-top-and-work-down' approach instead of solving specific problems that are obvious and specific and then working up from there to address and 'solute' side issues.
