Response to Fundamentalism is Satanism...

that it's got to be more than just the old "human nature" at work. It seems that the bulk of humans can be programmed to do just about anything -including good.

And in this regard, the Bible has some pretty interesting statements:

Adam and Eve ate their fruit and gained ... the KNOWLEDGE of good and evil. Previously they would have known no more about what is good or what is evil that animals know.

So humans can contemplate and work out ways to do good and ways to do evil.

And then there's the "prince of the power of the air" -(Ephesians 2:2).

What is THAT? Is it ESP ... giving subconscious suggestions on how to do evil ... all of the time?

I do think the motivation for good and evil comes from some external suggestive forces and not from human beings themselves.
