      My excitement for you knows no bounds!!

      Indeed....

      You'll be glad you did.

      Just remember that ................ if you did everything right and you STILL can't get your computers to communicate with each other on the network ............. uninstall your Anti-virus programs completely (don't just disable) .......... and turn off XP firewall .......... and then RE-INSTALL the networks. (XP has a floppy creation system you can use to automatically create your network settings). Then re-install your anti-virus and turn the firewall back on (if you want. Personally, I find the router's own firewall is totally adequate and I leave XP's turned off all the time).

      That's what I had to do ................ after returning 2 prior routers and the third one wouldn't work either ........

      I found this bit of elusive advice ........... followed it ............ and my last router instantly worked perfectly.
