I'm sure you value the fact that you're an American citizen .... no longer under the control of Britain. Who stimulated that spirit of Independence? Thomas Paine ...... through his writing COMMON SENSE.
His ideas and writing style were so closely copied in the American Declaration of Independence that some people believe he actually WROTE it!~
He was definitely not an atheist ........ but of course, that point is lost on someone like yourself, who perceives God to be a one-dimensional cardboard cutout.
