I've been working on building up experience on painting furniture, basically I'm buying used furniture and giving a new look and sellingit. No, I haven't sold any yet, I want to make a name for myself first, so my first piece can have a tag...so the word about my buisness can spread...any ways, here's the names I've come up with, I don't know yet whether or not any are already taken...let me know what you think! and Thank you SOOOOOO much to all who participate!!!

Holy smokes! Your work is gorgeous! I have an antique high chair that is really cracked and needs redoing and I wish I could get it to you.

I was thinking funniture until I saw how pretty it was and now I'm going to have to think on that. There's a guy in VT that does fun furniture, all dogs and cats. Like a cat bending over..or reaching up..etc...

man I wish you were closer, I have such pretty old beat up furniture to re-do!

I suck at this kind of thing. I really like names that are like a play on words. For example, there's a franchise here that does junk removal. they come drop a giant bin on your driveway for you to fill with trash or junk or whatever, and take it away when you're done. They're called "Bin there, dump that". I think that name is hysterical. And of all the companies I looked into that did that kind of work, that's the only name that I can remember.

That being said, I can't think of any that suits what you're doing. I think if you could somehow incorporate the fact that the furniture is "recylcled" or "reused"..something to that effect...then I think it would be a big bonus for you. Everyone is becoming more and more "green" and more conscious of buying local (vs buying stuff made in China or Bangledesh etc) (at least that's how it is here) that I think it would be beneficial if people knew that from the get go.

That's my under-educated 2 cents!

although Focal Point could be mistaken for an eyeglass company I guess lol. I would probably stay away from anything that says recycled since that sounds more "thift-store-ish".

one thing though, once you pick your name you have to do a name search. So don't get too attached to the "perfect" name until you know you can for sure have it! lol

the name grabs me...and me being a hugs used furniture freak...I would sooo love tha fact that it was "recycled" and made more beautiful. I have 3 pieces in my garage that is waiting to be articically redone!
You do some VERY nice work Naomi. My step mom does some furniture too...and she has gotten hundreds of dollars for a side table! So your work should do great! and once your name is out ther! watch out...i wish i lived closer I would help you go find stuff to paint! I an sooooooooo bad when it comes to used furniture! lol
