We are a group of friends who have come together because we share the common bond of caring for someone who has Trisomy 21. We are here to share therapy tips, medical issues, laughs, accomplishments and yes, even frustrations. We embrace what Trisomy 21 has brought into our lives. We feel that it has taught us to appreciate the true meaning of life. We count our children as blessings! We will fiercely protect them and fight for their lives to be valued just as all other peoples' are. We share our pictures, our stories and our hearts here not only to provide friendship and support for each other, but also in the hopes that others will open their minds and their hearts to our unique children and, in turn, make a better world for everyone.

This is the most recent piece I've painted. The chair is a practice piece for sure (see how crooked it is! LOL) Anyways if anyone likes to give opinions, I'd love it, good or bad. Basically I was trying to practice matching the design of the quilt in my daughter's room. But I didn't want to copy the designs, just the colors. I have a saying going around the rim of the chair..."the green grass and happy skies court the fluttering butterflies." I thought it was cute and went with the picture on the seat. My writing could be better, I don't want it to look perfect, but it could be more uniform. KWIM? Anyways, thank you to all who put up with my posting my stuff here, you help me out alot on improving what I'm trying hard to learn!

I love your work. It's crooked? Gives it character. How are you planning to market it? Catalogues? Ebay? Hey, what are you doing with your red and yellow chair? I really like it.

I still have the red/yellow chair, I plan on selling it as soon as I work out the details on thebuisness aspect of it. I have acually put in a bit more detail on that, it's my favorite so far, Thank you for all the compliments, I need the pick me up! I'm SO new at this yet. I have the artistic know-how, but not the buisness aspect yet, but I met someone who does and is going to help me with it! I was planning on selling the red/yellow chair after I get an official buisness name etc. I thought I would sell local at first and maybe e-bay, not sure yet.

here's an unedited photo of the chair in it's final state. pardon the bricks, I had just given it a final clear-coat, and I don't have the proper space for doing that yet, all in due time!
