We are a group of friends who have come together because we share the common bond of caring for someone who has Trisomy 21. We are here to share therapy tips, medical issues, laughs, accomplishments and yes, even frustrations. We embrace what Trisomy 21 has brought into our lives. We feel that it has taught us to appreciate the true meaning of life. We count our children as blessings! We will fiercely protect them and fight for their lives to be valued just as all other peoples' are. We share our pictures, our stories and our hearts here not only to provide friendship and support for each other, but also in the hopes that others will open their minds and their hearts to our unique children and, in turn, make a better world for everyone.

Watch what you say now....I happen to BE an April baby. tee hee hee Actually, I also have three siblings who are ALSO born in April. Isn't that wild? (four out of 8 kids born in April) I do have to say that the ones born at the beginning of the month are a lot more logical minded and less emotional/easy to set off than those of us born mid/late April. Hoping my boy gets the traits of those siblings than us other two. Of course this one could be born at the end of March since my due date is April 3. Who knows?

Thanks again for offering up the clothes! They are cute so I'm sure you'll sell them. If no one here needs them, you could always try ebay!

I was really amazed that what we had will work out well. But really any weather babies wear a lot of the snap up one-piece PJ deals at first. After not really remembering a lot of the clothes, I remembered that Johnny didn't wear a whole lot of his 0-3 mo newborn clothes with so much time spent in the NICU. He wore a few of my favorites that I took in there so he'd be cute for when family and company came to visit, but after his first big surgery and being diaper only for quite a while, he mostly wore just one of their snap front t-shirts with all of his wires, tubes, and equipment. By the time he came home, he was growing into 3-6 mo clothes by the time he came home. Oh well.
