Who's going to be there? Do you meet up at Times Square or wait until the walk?

Just curious~ I still don't have all the details on where I need to be when since I'm volunteering with Rachel & Signing Time. Robert is wondering since he will be with the kids.

We went last year. This year we won't be attending the times square event, but we'll be at the walk. If we can find Central park on our own.

In the past, everyone usually meets up in the park before the walk. We usually set up a picnic blanket right at the top of the hill that leads to the walk. Times Square is usually always packed, so we just go there to watch the video, it's easier to hook up with everyone afterwards in CP and walk together.

Ok, I am a little nervous as we have never been to NY before.
Help?
We will be there Friday through Monday (with all 3 kids 9, 7, 3).
I think we are on the bus to go to the video but have not heard yet.
Any tips for those of you who have gone?
And how would I ever find anyone once we are there.
