| Hi, I am homozygous MTHFR and take folate/B12 every day - but was told RE may want me on blood thinners before transfer and possibly after. I have had my homocystine levels tested and they are normal, so is it really necessary to have the thinners??? know many doctors have conflicting ideas about this. I tried them to help some previous cycles but wasn't successful anyway PLUS I started losing a lot of hair and hoped not to have to go through that again!
