I am in the same boat...I went in today b/c I have been having pain in my left side and I started freaking out about ectopic. Turned out to be a cyst on my ovary.
I am 5w5d...my RE was also quite rushed and basically said: it's a singleton pregnancy, there is the gestational sac, there is the yolk sac, everything is where it should be and you are measuring right on track. He didn't mention - and I was too scared to ask about fetal pole and heartbeat...but like I said, it was very quick, he didn't zoom in or dig around much, and so I am trying to be optimistic. Plus my husband basically grabbed me by the shoulders afterward and said if you start your "negative nelly, doubting, thinking the worst" routine, I will kill you. We go in Monday to hopefully see the HB.
My research says that fetal pole/heartbeat is seen at the earliest late in 5th week into 6th...so I am not sure what lies google is spewing
