I don't know why they chose a career that involves pregnant women when they don't have bedside manners! ugh!
Well I don't agree that you should stop the progesterone without getting checked, I'm not a doctor but I know of many people that have needed it for longer.
My doctor checked mine before I got off it because i had a lot of bleeding during my pregnancy and my levels were always really low.
I'd ask your local RE for the test if you want to make sure, remember you're your only advocate in this process, doctors can be really good but you're just another patient to them, so do what your heart tells you, and don't worry if you feel you're annoying them that's why you're paying good money to see them :p
