it's only if you feel worried about taking 500mg of tylenol at once. I think it should be fine. It's one of those that hey say is "safe".
if you do feel worried about it, taking half and waiting 30 min and if it's still pounding, take the other half. Otherwise, I'd take the 500mg dose.
