I'm completely exhausted and seeing double right now...but I can NOT stop smiling! I'll post more details later, but Lorelei Hope Daws was welcomed in to the world at 9:26am weighing 6lbs 11 oz and 20 inches tall. She required NO nicu time and right now is the first time she's been out fo my sight all day. (She's getting a bath finally).
I couldn't love my husband more then I do right now for giving me this incredible gift and being on this journey with him. He really is the love of my life!
Lorelei seems to want to suck, but gets frustrated cuz she's not getting much. I pumped some colostrm out tonight and she sucked it down out of a bottle no problem! We'll see where that all ends up. BFing is hard work! YIKES! My nipples are already starting to hurt which I know means I need to improve my technique. But i'm not giving up yet!
Sorry to keep you all waiting all day long. It's been a while wind, but I am so blessed and in love with this beautiful girl...I can't even explain it properly!
