Help need understanding b/w numbers

Hi ladies, after going 13 weeks with no period after LO arrived, I was finally able to get in to see OB. She ran some bloodwork and it said my FSH was 6 and the thyroid level was 1.2. The doctor mentioned the thyroid level was smack dab in the middle so I should not be worried about anything there.
Now, I wound up getting my period 3 days later after the blood draw. I know the fsh number is really only as good as taking it on day 3. But was wondering what the pattern was for fsh, ie should it be elevated a few days from your period. I guess the good news is I got my period so I am not in menopause. I am not about to jump back in to the whirlwind of cycling, but was wondering if these numbers were indicative of anything.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
